Quick Start Guide
-
Installing the Bridge: To protect the wood during shipping, the bridge is wrapped in paper under the tailpiece. Carefully stand it up between the notches of the two "f-holes" to hold the strings.
-
Preparing the Bow: New horsehair is naturally smooth. Gently scratch the surface of the included rosin and rub it along the bow hair several times until it creates enough "grip" to produce sound.
-
Tensioning: Tighten the bow screw until there is a roughly 1/4-inch gap between the hair and the wood. Avoid over-tightening to protect the arbor wood's natural curve.
Ideal For:
-
Adult Beginners: A high-value, durable entry point into violin study.
-
Music Enthusiasts: A beautiful acoustic instrument for casual play and hobbyist recordings.
-
Teenage Students: Transitioning from smaller fractional sizes to their first full-sized instrument.
